The School has a dedicated multi-media lab with adequate media based applications in both Windows and Mac platforms. Dedicated 100 MBPS line for internet connectivity is available for the staff and students alike. The faculty can access Internet on their individual desk-tops while students can avail internet facility in the multi-media lab as well as on their laptops as the building is wi-fi enabled.

In addition to regular class room teaching, Live virtual classes are sometimes conducted from the media lab using e-Gyankosh Adobe Connect facilities. The facility is also used for making seminar presentations from diverse locations. At present, the School has equipment for pre-production and production facilities and can emerge as a well-equipped resource centre for digital multimedia production.

The School also draws upon the human and technical resources of the Electronic Media Production Centre (EMPC) of IGNOU which is a full-fledged broadcast house. The EMPC, built with technical and financial aid of the Government of Japan, is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-video production facility. The academic resource as well as infrastructure available in the EMPC is used to provide guidance and training to learners and expose them to different aspects of broadcasting and satellite communication such as Gyan Vani (Radio), Gyan Darshan (TV) and Edusat (Satellite).
