SOFL has conducted an International Translation Workshop (31st August to 5th September, 2009) in collaboration with School of Translation Studies and Training, IGNOU and French Embassy. Participants from all over India were trained in translating literary texts from French to Indian Languages (Hindi, Marathi, Bengali and Tamil).

Another International Translation Workshop – Special Focus on Lexicography has been organized on March 8-13, 2010. This workshop trained participants to prepare lexicons/ dictionaries between French and Indian Languages (Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Santhali and Assamese).
